What the Cat Dragged In Mousery opened for public sale only recently. For almost a year, we did nothing but breed out the "bad" lines, the unhealthy mice, that we had gotten from pet stores. Currently, we only have a few mice that are bred into our lines that come directly from the store, seeing as we clearly have no idea what kind of genetic problems those mice may have.
Our next step is to start breeding our mice with other healthy lines from other mouseries that have very good backgrounds on the health of their lines. If you have a mousery and are interested in helping us in the second step of our mousery, please fill out this form.
We only let people that we know are capable of caring for our mice buy or adopt from this mousery. Since we still have problems pop up in our lines from time to time with tumors or some such, we also need people to be careful and know what to look for in case something does happen. If, for some reason that is beyond your control, your mouse dies, we are more than happy to replace them free of charge. (If your mouse dies due to neglect, mistreatment, common aliment, or lack of vetranary care, they cannot be replaced.) In any case, we do ask that if you are an owner of one of our mice that when it dies, you let us know the date and what it died from in order to keep better record of lines.
